Margaret grew up in urban Philadelphia in a small row home and lots of older brothers. Bridget spent her childhood years in an idyllic Central Pennsylvania town where the cows are many and the stoplights are few. This week the gals are with Jim as he recalls some of his compelling memories while on a two and half month trek through the Soviet Union and on to Europe. Focusing mostly on his time riding the Siberian Railroad, Jim evokes the absurdity of a carefree young American meeting the Soviet bureaucracy.
